The SLCF (Housing Accelerator Fund) is a significant step in the Government of Canada’s plan to double the rate of residential construction over the next decade to make housing more affordable for people living in Canada.
The Town of Caraquet has received nearly $2.7 million under this program, which provides incentives to contractors to build 150 new homes in Caraquet by 2027. The application form for grants and information on the 7 different types of incentives are available below.
