Bonne nouvelle! The new trucks equipped with automatic arms are now operating on the roads of the Acadian Peninsula.
Household waste collection takes place on Tuesdays. It is done in alternation with the collection of recyclable materials (blue bin).
If waste is not collected during public holidays, it will be collected the following working day.
For more information, please visit the Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission website.
The City of Caraquet wants to eliminate the phenomenon of illegal dumping in wooded areas. It also wants to allow citizens to dispose of bulky materials locally immediately without having to wait for regular collection.
This service is strictly reserved for the use of citizens for waste generated in the context of domestic and non-profit activities.
Contractors undertaking renovation work must rent containers provided for this purpose or transport their waste to the Tracadie Waste Treatment Centre.
Please follow the instructions posted at the entrance.
